She has worked in the legal field for over 20 years and possesses a solid background in both estate planning and family law.

She has volunteered at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Legal Aid Society of San Diego Conservatorship Clinic and Wills for Heroes, Children at Risk Committee, San Diego Rescue Mission, Ronald McDonald House, Juvenile Hall and as a Judge for American Mock Trial.
